Newbattle Centre for Sport and Leisure operates outside of school hours in the evenings and weekends, using the facilities that the PE department use for teaching during the day. These facilities are available to hire by members of the community. Newbattle Centre for Sport and Leisure is open for community use with a recently refurbished swimming pool and floodlit multi-playing surfaces. The indoor facilities can accommodate various dance, martial arts, exercise classes, badminton and team games. The function room located above the swimming pool and sports hall (with viewing gallery) is an ideal area which caters for children’s birthday parties and private meetings.
